Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) arrives

Why don't you use Safari?

I have never felt comfortable with it. FF feels like home and I'm getting more used to Chrome but Safari has never felt good to me. I now switch between the two depending on my mood.

I'm not that much of a fanboy that I can't see when Apple is not up the best for me :p

Silly question - but where can the beta be downloaded? Cant seem to find a working url...

Website taskbar pinning, jump list, as well as dynamic taskbar web icons are huge features. I love the fact that any webpage pinned to the taskbar can now dynamically update the taskbar icon with info, like how many unread emails you have in your webmail inbox.

Websites can now properly act as standard apps.

Can't wait for chrome and firefox to copy that functionality.

I've found that the 64 bit version is a little more fluid with screen updates and such... perhaps it's just my config though.

D

i am impressed... looking REALLY quick... got chrome dev channel on one screen ie on the other and ie seems to be loading much quicker.. maybe its just me? lol

Ok, I'm VERY impressed....a new supersexy font* that makes My Broadband looks fantabulous!!

Love the fact that you can just have icons for all your favorite shortcuts and how superfast it is.

*Ah....Cleartype for HTML?

Mybb icon on the taskbar.

the browser looks good, but unfortunately a large number of sites I've checked doesn't even look remotely right in it...

It is a beta browser, not the final product. ETA for the final release of IE9 is only end of year or early 2011.

I am willing to give it a try based on what I have read so far.
