Prior to embarking on my weekly shopping trip, I buy a Mo'nice 50 MB all-net bundle to keep in touch with family at home. As happens every week, these SMSs are received:

Internet access paused. Either your data bundle is depleted or you're not in Telkom's coverage and using a Telkom only bundle. Dial *180# or open your browser.

Hello! You have 30 MB "All Networks data" available. 30 MB will expire on 01/11/2020.

Of course, the net result is that I am actually allocated only 20 MB data!

Attempts to obtain sensible input from Telkom agents are fruitless; the only responses I receive are that I am roaming and using Telkom-only data! Despite protestations that I purchased all-net data, the assertions are that the system cannot be wrong!

Does anyone else experience the same problem?

Which USSD number are you buying from?
You are converting airtime into data I presume?

How many USSD numbers are there for Mo'nice data, besides *123*1# :?
My bad. Didn't see Mo'nice in the post.

The sms says you have 30MB remaining.
Do you check how much you have and only see 20MB?
When you load the bundle, do you receive an sms of 50MB allocated?
Or does the sms show 30MB only?

My router reports data usage and I have verified its accuracy. 20MB was used prior to being paused. Telkom refuses to acknowledge the problem.

I've never used the Mo'Nice deals, but do they not expire on the last day of the month, regardless of whether you purchased a bundle on the 15th or the 28th for example?
