Interstellar

Just saw it this afternoon, brilliant movie loved every moment.

First time in about 3 years I actually went to a proper cinema :D

To the guys complaining about the science .. it's entertainment not a degree is astrophysics. We watch movies about dragons & aliens too, no need to get the caclulators out to check if the height & length of Bruce Lee's flying kick was actually physically possible or not.

I found the plot clear & believable till the end, the only (slight) irritation is having missed a few lines due to too loud music.

+1
People are talking about how time should behave around black holes as if it's an everyday conversational topic...

I enjoyed the movie... The wormhole took me back to my sg-1 days

9.1/10

9/10. Absolutely brilliant. The scene on Miller's planet was so mindblowing.

I saw Interstellar in theatres. I enjoyed some of the imagery, but I thought it was crap as a film. Certainly not something I could sit through twice.

There is an iMax 1080p Blu-Ray version (68GB in size) already available online. Took me a while to grab it, but it is brilliant quality!

I don't often have the urge to buy films on disk, but Interstellar is one of them. Nolan can take my gold.

So I watched it again. Why doesn't Michael Caine age as much as other characters? Major flaw in the movie.

Meh - don't know if its "major". One thing I noticed is that when time was going forward, I recollect that the "interstellar" handshake was handled with an almost religious tone whereas once you see behind the 'curtain' and the mystery explained, its religiousness fell by the wayside.

Certain religious friends enjoyed the movie as if it reinforced faith in a higher being - whereas it was actually a complete put-down.

The science was all wrong!!!

The entertainment was all good!!!

Go watch discovery channel if you want proper science ffs

I'm sure it can. I watched the movie the other day and I didn't even care about how accurate the science was. I watched it for the entertainment and it did just that. Who cares about Michael Cains age or any other scientific flaw. The movie was not designed to be accurate.

The science wasn't all wrong but even if it was that is hardly a reason for judging the movie harshly.

Then they should've made him look younger in earlier scenes. CGi can do this.

Why? That is generally terrible. Also, not everyone ages the same way:
