Yeah, and speculation without an edge is gambling. One either has to do their 10k hours to figure out how to do it well, and get that edge, or follow what the masses are doing, leverage their experience, while being aware of their inability to coordinate, and buy a portfolio of ETFs, cash, foreign and domestic exposure, mutual funds, etc., and hope for the best (or more accurately, the average).Yeah, it is not really investing what wingnut is doing, more like speculation.
No, speculation is gambling. Probably fine if you only use 5 or 10 percent of your capital.Speculation is investing.

FOMO didn't get the best of you?Yeah, staying far away from the FOMO at the moment.
Tell me about it LOL!FOMO didn't get the best of you?
I bought yesterday. I see it dropped more this morning.
Nice!I bought yesterday. I see it dropped more this morning.
How do you know when to sell?I bought yesterday. I see it dropped more this morning.
When its doubled or may just leave it long term. How do you know when to sell?
this is a tricky one @BBSA you need to decide what you want. BTC isnt going to 10x overnight, are you in this for the long term on short term? When its doubled or may just leave it long term.
Why?Retail Savings Bonds still a viable option?
I'm not particularly interested in Bitcoin; I just find it interesting to see how Wingate will manage this.this is a tricky one @BBSA you need to decide what you want. BTC isnt going to 10x overnight, are you in this for the long term on short term?
TBH if you dabble with BTC - DCA and buy the dips and leave VERY long term
if it was more risky crypto I would do the following as I have for years:I'm not particularly interested in Bitcoin; I just find it interesting to see how Wingate will manage this.
Right now, I'm mostly invested in property and TLT (iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF).
I have Sygnia with S&P 500 and the Skeleton 70.Why?
I would rather open a satrix account or similar and load S&P 500/Nasdaq ETF good annual growth and also dollar hedged.
Also settle all debt before investing takes place
to be honest I would rather have a hard password l;ocked away than fix it in RSA bonds....I have Sygnia with S&P 500 and the Skeleton 70.
I am considering RSA because I am receiving inheritance payout and I'd rather not be tempted to frivolous spending. AFAIK you can't fix investments with Satrix.
