It's pretty similar but a lot of news sites are. At least they improved it, was terrible before.

yea it looks better, but i find it less practical to use now. Felt the same when news24 changed theirs. for news sites, i'd be happy happy with a lynx-compatible text site with all the headlines on one darn page...

I don't like it. It chows way more bandwidth so I won't browse there from home. They layout isn't very user friendly IMO. Perhaps just need to get used to it. They should spend more effort into finding literate journalists than farking up their website.

Hmmmm - Now they reverted to their old design. FAIL!

IOL relaunched on Sunday with a completely revamped design running on new hardware.

However, ongoing problems with the new website servers have forced us to revert to the old website. We apologise to all our readers for the inconvenience.
