Lot of very interesting stuff dropping with this new version. Keen to try it out.

Airdrop switching to internet send when out of range is going to be a problem for us MTN users since that useless network can’t even open a website properly without having to refresh 15 times and bring the phone in and out of airplane mode to try get a data connection again - So that’s wasted on us

It always baffles me when I see comments about MTN because where I live it’s sometimes better than many ISPs in terms of speed and stability.

Can’t wait to try this update. Some of these features I loved on my android phones.

Has no one figured out the issue? Have had it for the past year or two, living in Joburg and Cape Town. Often have to go onto airplane mode for a few seconds before data starts working.

Wasn't fancy voicemail capability one of the selling points of the original iPhone? Apple made some kind of deal with the American telco that launched it IIRC.

Edit: yes, I remembered correctly. "Visual voicemail", though I've no idea how that worked or what this new thing offers over and above:

This might be or I believe it to be screening like in the movies, like an answering machine type of update where you can hear the person leaving a message but can pick up if you want to

Live Voicemail transcribing is going to be fun with all the accents we have

If its anything like MS Teams - its gonna be fun.
