Okay, some context.
The upgrade of the Mac os and iTunes are all in preparation of ios 4.2 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
New features include:
Multitasking for iPad
Printing, called airprint
Airplay, music and video streaming.

Rumor now puts the release of ios 4.2 between 16-24 Nov.

Talking about Airplay I installed iTunes 10.1 to get the Airplay function from Mac-->ATV2 going until 4.2 is out for iOS devices but it's a no go. Looks like ATV2 software needs an update maybe?
