Yep, close but no cigar. I don't think it will be long before it's enabled though. Particularly if google includes turn by turn in the new map app they're surely working on. In the meantime I've still got my tomtom app.

Yes I do have the 4G (3G) version. I will run it today sometime as I am still playing with iOS 6 on my iPhone 4s. I see the file for the iPad 3 was a large 1.1GB one. It's things like these that make Mweb 4GB uncapped worthwhile.

The map sets are very old and nowhere up to date, especially in the Boksburg area. Lets hope this get sorted out once the iPhone 5 lands here. Otherwise except for turn by turn voice the positioning is accurate enough.
Will try it out on my walk this morning.

I'm curios if the OTA updates will update iOS 5 to 6, but I guess it won't do major versions? Anyone read anything about that? The OTA updates for 5 were reasonably small. The only thing that irked me was that when charging and on wifi it sneakily downloads the update for you and there is no way to disable it. Even at the reduced size it's a killer with 4 iOS devices in the house and capped internet access.

Turn by turn looks like it is working for me. Haven't actually driven with it but will give it a shot later. App store not working for anyone else? everything else seems to work great.

True. This tweak would be for iPhone and Siri. Catch22, will have to wait for iPad to be jailbroken on iOS6 to enable this tweak.
