True multitasking is a game changer on iOS. Pissed that split screen only available on the air 2 though.
I don't have a problem with Apple using features from Google and vice versa. If a feature works, it makes sense to develop it. My problem with these Apple conferences will always be the marketing and the fanboys :| I dunno if a lot of the people in the crowd are paid to clap and scream and every word that comes out of Tim's mouth but they're either ridiculously arrogant of what's already out there or way too excited over certain things.
Examples:
- Pins tab in Safari *crowd cheers and claps
- Mutes tab in Safari *crowd goes crazy
- Called Id (picking up numbers from email) *crowd loses their minds
- News App *crowd implodes
If they could just tone down their marketing so that they aren't trying to treat everyone like an idiots in suggesting that these are the most amazingly new or innovative features only available on Apple -.-
Also unnecessary stabs at Android and Windows adoption figures. Great throw a percentage up there with no context -.-

Why? It has been a fairly big omission for health tracking up to now
Lol, wot? My 4 year old iPad 2 is getting this update. Show me any Google/MS/Samsung product that has a lifetime like that.
If anything, Google/MS/Samsung need to catch up with Apple when it comes to quality and support.

You have a very limited memory.
It isnt about who perfected something, it is about who even thought about the idea. It wouldnt exsist if nobody even thought about the idea? Apple sued Samsung for ages, accused them of copying and won those cases.
All I am saying is dont be a hypocrite.
Everybody and the media is quick to point fingers at Samsung for copying but Apple is seen as "perfecting a product" what BS is that?
Apple controls its image incredibly well. It is the taylor swift of tech. Taylor Swift should be called the ho of hollywood cos she has been with a ton of men but manages to maintain a squeaky clean image.

How do you find the panoramic features or the filters on the camera though ?
EDIT : My bad - both your devices say you have the same iOS and have had for a few versions - but it seems you actually different features? So, you're right - yours will say iOS9 and make you feel fuzzy - but what will you lack? Maybe all the features? So you get a skin and then brag that you have iOS9?
If it makes you feel good having a watered down featureless iOS that at least pretends to be the latest - great !

I'll help you - you don't have it.
Not all iOS versions are the same for each device, regardless of whether you think you have the latest. So your 4 year old device won't be the latest and greatest iOS and have the same features as the guy sitting next to you. Worse still, you have no idea at this point what you have or don't have
I've got a 5 year old Samsung running Android 2.3 at home and can't be upgraded. But using the Apple way, I'll just flash it with a highly cut down and featureless Android 5 skin - just to show you that it does and me feel better that I'm still supported

Honest question; What is the point having the latest iOS if their legacy devices don't support all the features?
