iOS Backup Extractor

Hi All, I have some family photos sitting inside an iOS backup that I need to try and get to, there seems to be tools available online, but I'm not about to spend $30 on this once off use app.

Any suggestions of a free method?

I can't restore the backup to the phone as it is faulty...

I've been able to export photographs using the trial version of iBackupBot.
