IP address tracker

I'm sure this question has come up before, but here goes:

I urgently need to trace the IP address of a Yahoo email address. If I enable full headers and trace the IP addresses there it only returns me back to Yahoo Broadcasting Inc., so it has to be an email address tracker.

Well, i know of someone who wanted to do the same thing, they were spamming hatemail. The person gave yahoo a call, but Yahoo is not allowed to reveal any personal information about its users. But sorry, i can't be of any help, other than saying i don't know if it's possible.
