IP Connect problem causes ADSL downtime

It's been slow as hell since yesterday and doesn't seem to be ceasing.
MWEB, Berea, Durban

Telkom ADSL

Connectivity issues as well for an hour or so, with Telkom ISP, but so what, its like only the second time I had issues with Telkom ADSL in 3 years.

I've had the same connectivity issues on Monday and Tuesday evening between 20:30 and 22:00. It was OK before that.

ISP - Telkom
Tygervalley/Durbanville area, Cape Town

Bryanston is pretty useless. On a 4mb line you get 1.4Mb down and about 260kb up. What are we paying for??!!

A best effort service... 1.4Mb up is still more than guaranteed service! :p

Had same problem tonight , international dont work , only local !!! Reset router and its fine ! Really frustrating Telkom !

Sporadic since monday with this coming through on Tuesday
"15h30 P2: 2 x IPC links degrading. We're experiencing degraded throughput on 2 of the 6 IPC links in Victory Park. Call Logged with Telkom for investigation."
SP - MWEB BUSINESS
this apart from the fact that we are unable to send emails to certain domains for almost a month now. MWEB IP range is blocked due to SPAM so one of their clients spam and everybody in that range gets blocked.

Yep, internet was useless on Monday night for me in Richards Bay area. But since yesterday fine again. Irritating but $h1t happens i guess. :wtf:

Down time Or to Dam Slow.

:twisted:There has been to much down time or to dam slow. Looking at changing to another network.

Anyone still experiencing problems ? Local p2p don't go faster than 32kb/s (used to be constant 40kb/s). Also can barely visit a website with the 32kb/s max download going. On openweb gold network. Used to be great, now, not so great. YouTube videos load in spikes, between 1kb/s and 40kb/s. Also used to be 40kb/s constant.
