iPad 2 case and cover

Any Ipad2 cases that look like a book or diary? I saw moleskin bringing out something like that for the iphone.

I bought my iPad cover at IC, and looks like a book and made of leather. Paid R499 for it. I also bought the apple smart cover but do not want to use it until I find something that protects the back as well.

The iPad is not a laptop. If people want a laptop why don't they just bloody well buy a laptop?

Why is this such a difficult concept for some?

I know its not a laptop but for people that sometimes need a netbook, typing documents or creating a presentation when on the move it makes for a great converter so you don't need to lug around a second device.

why the need to troll here? if you are jealous go buy an ipad

Joke in all this is I am a strong Android supporter, that cant wait for his transformer to arrive. I bought it purely because it can do both functions. Sure if you want a laptop go buy a laptop but my problem is I dont want a laptop. I just want something that I can VNC into my servers and use a mouse + keyboard to work, and I want to do this on the move. Laptops normally weigh 5 times more and limits space on your carry on.

With this type of add-on's I get that functions plus I have the bonus of having a tablet that I can use in the hotel room to surf the web.

I still say use what fits you, is my motto. That is why we have choices so that we not forced to use one device but can use what "we" want.

Well, there are netbooks that are smaller than an iPad inside a folio with a BT keyboard. All I am saying is that you should buy a tool to do the job it is designed for, not try and get functionality out of a tool that was not designed for the job.

People who buy iPads thinking they are like laptops are going to be very disappointed. These kinds of cases are giving off the wrong message to consumers. Whats the trackpad for, anyway?

No clue on iPad, I know the Android one gives you full mouse functions. I guess on iPad it gives you access to pinch and zoom or scroll support.
