Coming on a forum populated with Apple users (NOT fanatics, users - there is a difference) and telling them that their device is a 'starter tablet' (that happens to own 90% of the tablet market - all your advanced tabs split the difference currently. Fire will hopefully change that) and they are all isheep... in what way is that not trolling?
Oops, missed that.
But anyway, I can't drag the split one anywhere. Just spent 5 minutes trying but that bad boy aint going anywhere.
Press and hold the keyboard button and choose undock. You can then drag the whole keyboard up and down by placing your finger on the keyboard change button and dragging it up or down. Also if you reverse pinch the full keyboard from the middle out to the left and right the full keyboard turns into a split keyboard.
The secret to moving the split keyboard or the full keyboard up or down is to move it up or down as soon as you press the keyboard change button. If you wait 2 seconds or so it gives you the popup. It only moves if you move it before the popup.

You'll see four ridges on the right of the keyboard key, press and drag from there.

The reason I brought up the other groups and brands is to show the difference between an Apple fan and anyone else
Not everyone who owns something, automatically defends it and gets into heated arguments. Didn't see my example with the Volvo enthusiasts pointing out the 'search' short comings?
If it's just a myth - why does everyone see you as the same?
Why are you regarded at the most loyal fans out there?
Why have they got a syndrome dedicated to you - and not only mentioned one one site either?
Why are there hundreds of sites dedicated to describing you guys?
They must stem from somewhere - and from what I've seen, fairly accurate too. I've been a member arguing and debating products but never seen a reaction like I've received here. It's almost funny to watch the reactions :/

Eternal arguments those.
Apple people just love their gear a lot, so they make all types of arguments why they love it so much, and sometimes they are wrong, but mostly i would say they are right.
Hating apple is like hating twilight, its just the thing to do if you are anti-mainstream cool dude rebelling against the hipsters by joining an equally mainstream non-meaninsteam clique. Although mentioning twilight in the same breadth as apple is not the kind of fuel i wanted to give you when i began writing this post.
This is all just gear, use what works and what you like. Defining oneself by any of this crap is rather humorous/idiotic, whatever group you belong to.

Thing is... I'm not an Apple fan. Not at all. i made that clear earlier. Certain things about Apple products grate on my nerves too much. If I have a choice between a high end Android/WP7 phone vs an iPhone it's no contest. You're the one who came on with all the assumptions about everyone's fanboyism and any kind of reaction you got immediately verified that to you. And now you get to write a snide little attack and call it off? No chance of that.
No...you're right about that, I'd rather not have you go into it thx.

Perhaps we're on the same page - certain things grate me about Apple as well. I guess the difference is I speak out and try to find out why?
And it was hardly an assumption on the fanboys - one can look at the very first post I made regarding the issues and the replies ...
But seriously - bwana you can close this thread ... thinking it started with real disadvantages which would have been great for n00bs to read and degraded into personal insults. It's run it's course
