Ipad 3... worth it to upgrade?

Ghoti is a known hater and rabid android fanboy. I have both in my household and the there is a difference and it is very noticeable. I don't about the orgasm but it is wow.

"a rabid android fanboy" "known hater"

Could you show me rabid defending of android on this forum..cause I think you are speaking crap. Also, for someone who is a "known hater", and someone who owns an ipod nano, macbook, ipad3 and busy purchasing a macbook air.... Yeah guys, I hate apple so much I have several of their devices. Check how bias I am.

I have no brand loyalty... I use whats best. I have gone through multiple OS`s, devices and platforms. So easy to paint someone as a "hater" just cause they dont agree with you. What you just did reminds me of how the right wing on this forum perceive you.

What I have noticed, if you dont suck apple ****, the cult of apple brand you a hater and ergo cant have an opinion.

Ah - so you're saying I need to LOOK for the difference?
Like different aspects to compare and notice?
And also - from what I hear - I need to do a side by side comparrison?

That really is ground breaking right there ...

EDIT : you may have just answered the OP

Nope. What I'm saying is if you analyzed other aspects of the screen as thoroughly as the map icon we wouldn't be having this conversation.

As I eluded to earlier the differences with non-ipad apps (2x iphone) is quite obvious.

Ill probably be moving my gaming system from windows to ios shortly. Apple has got big enough that all the games I play are pretty well supported. Right now Windows is too insecure and too unstable for me. iOS has better levels of security and stability and enough of the software I need for me to take it seriously now. Also, itunes on windows sucks, I have enough apple devices to warrant itunes on ios.

The ipad 3 has a very pretty screen, and a bloody good camera but is it worth it to upgrade from the ipad2? If you are passionate about screens and camera then get it, if not then I would probably wait for the next gen ipad if I had an ipad 2.

I've used both iPad 2 and 3 too. Retina display is a big improvement, all tablet screens should look like this. Whether you should upgrade from the iPad 2 is questionable - if you have the money to burn then yes, otherwise wait for the next gen iPad as ghoti mentioned above.

The differences are VERY noticeable when viewing text - mails, e-books, web pages.

The differences are not THAT noticeable on pictures and movies...
