Lol ah an apple fanboi. Then let me ask you since you can't upgrade any apple stuff with anything you have to buy a new device. The battery inside these devices are a problem do you know how damaging a lithium ion battery is. Then apple bluffs people by building solar panels saying we "green"

Also why steve jobs only owned one shirt ? That black turtle neck lol
 
Not bad at all lets just hope that isnt an actual screen cause it looks washed out so its probably a picture printed on paper,but nah 7" tablets are not for me thanks.
 
I have a genuine, serious question :

Why is the 7" tablet alright now - but 2 years ago they were DOA and Mr Jobs hated them?

Oh yeah, the limited SA App store. I forgot about that. Getting a US account isn't too hard though, is it? Or are you cautious because it's not exactly doing it by the book?

Jobs had a history of doing that when he wanted to throw people off the scent.

Also, it's more accurate to call it an 8" tablet. 7.85" is far closer to 8" than 7". The extra 0.85" combined with the aspect ratio will make a big difference.

You don't think it's a positive thing that they were able to be flexible and change their views? I think Tim Cook went on record saying that Steve Jobs frequently took an absolute stance and then changed his mind later. Iirc he was totally set against the app store originally until his colleagues wore him down on the subject and he stormed out telling them to do whatever the hell they wanted.

Saying that I'm not sure I buy into the iPad Mini concept. Or I might be if it didn't have such a rumoured low resolution screen. Fairly pointless addition imo.

The big selling point from a consumer's perspective is gong to be the price.

Many people can't afford the full blown Ipad.

Errr.. This is not only an apple problem... What about the gazillion other different handsets that get pumped out, in volume I'm pretty sure samsungs etc put out more batteries. You can't upgrade other phones or tablets either...
