iPad3 - Need convincing

I prefer Feedly to Flipboard personally. Beautiful and simple layout.

Games are one area where I've found iOS to excel above Android; that and children's apps, and cooking apps.... ok.... tab specific apps in general. But yea there are mountains of excellent iPad games.

That picture is perfect. How you will end up first night in jail with someone sticking something in at the back. How many laws are broken by getting a fake US account? You accept Apple's conditions whenever they ask you to. You sidestep US and SA laws. You commit fraud and provide false identity information. Etc.

Read a few book written by hackers who got caught. Ghost in the Wires by Mitnik is one. When caught these guys got severly punished for the little things, the stuff they laughed-off at first. The problem is that you end up in a cell until you get bail or get released and only a few hours in there can change your whole life.

I genuinely wouln't just laugh it off. One never knows who's reading here. And to hide behind a fake name here won't stop authorities from getting your real ID.

I was caught out once (another similar thing). One day just got a notification via email that I must provide proof of my US citizenship within 24 hours. Account suspended. Could have been worse.

Kindly explain procedure to extradite offender from SA to US for purchasing 50 dollars worth of apps, money that went to Apple/US economy/rightful owner?

Look mate, I think you're fairly objective, not too anti-Apple just for the fanboi sake of it, but this is ridiculous and really grasping at straws. Rather concentrate on not breaking the road speed limit or not pirating music/movies/games or some such...

I agree with the number of games and stuff. Quite an excellent selection.

Dashboard x and iwidget both available through Cydia. Both are pretty buggie though. Only posted to show it has been done. I don't use them neither would I recommend them. Don't work at all in landscape mode either.

Keel beans. This gives me lots of hope though. At least we don't have to write widgets. Just need to give the devs time.

I knew someone would be doing this. This thread has proved to be a valuable source of information. Especially for us iOS n00bs.
 
Occasionally there are some pretty insane drops in app prices for a limited period.For this reason AppShopper is a must to keep you up to speed on any price drops.Has great functionality to tailor for your personal app tastes.
 
More static widgets for iPad. Problem with iPad widgets is no one has worked out how to get them to work in different screen orientations.... Yet....

I see DashboardX now allows separate positioning for widgets in for landscape and portrait.
