Apple's pricing strategy is not sustainable in the third world countries.

It is a luxury item not meant for the poor and plebs. The relatively well & those who don't mind the debt will buy them by the millions as happens every year.

All good and well if you're a recent model's owner. But when you're new you kind'a get screwed. They should have cut prices by the cost of those accessories for all buyers.

I thought Samsung uses snapdragon for the models they release in SA?

I really have no idea why people are going on about notches and tear drop cameras. As if that would impact heavily on the experience.

This + FaceID is not just a front facing camera

4x optical zoom. This just killed the need for most of Canon's G series cameras. Unless you are confident those 1" sensors are going to outperform this phone. I highly doubt it though...

Another advantage of this phone is that the camera app will output RAW files that also include the results of the computational photography algorithms. That will probably place it ahead of the G series cameras.

I think part of the reason they don't have a better headline is because there's not much to report on. New model isn't radically different to the previous.

Prove? No, not objective. But I can make an inference on the fact that they always keep pricing fixed release to release. So prices are the same with or without those accessories.
