Oh nice, mine not there yet. maybe you the lucky one and rest of us with only emails are maybe being screwed over? :ROFL:
At this point I mean, everything is made up and the points don't matter!
 
Both my order statuses also changed to "Processing", hopefully I get them on Friday, fingers crossed...

Edit: iPhone 12 Pro 256GB Pacific Blue (ordered on Friday morning) and iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB Pacific Blue (ordered on Monday morning)

Mine still says "awaiting stock" (12 Pro Pacific Blue 128GB which is still open for pre-order).

On hold with iStore support for 10 minutes to confirm they are working through all pre-orders (clearly in some random unknown methodology) so this message will change before Friday. (hmmmm).

Phones will only be given to couriers on Friday.

Deliveries only likely from Monday as "couriers don't deliver on weekends".

iStore always exceeds expectations.

iStore should really hand the goods over to the courier beforehand and have them start delivering on Friday, that's what usually happens overseas, but with SA's logic and mentality, one really can't say... :rolleyes:

So mine is now 'Complete' after 'Processing' and I received an iCare email as well as a delivery message that said 'Order complete, look out for delivery' :D

Edit: The iCare email has my Pro Max phone IMEI number in the document so that at least means I've been allocated a phone. I hope you all start receiving these messages as well.

Eish... for a premium product one would expect premium service

Mine still says awaiting stock :rolleyes: Dont know how damn stupid you must be to launch a phone on a friday and insist on Home delivery. Just ship the damn things by today or Thursday.
 
Seems like a bit of a lottery. My status still says "awaiting stock" so I thought I'd chip in my 2c worth and spoke to a consultant through the Chat box.

Please be advised that we do not have stock at the moment, stock will be received Friday and shipments will start on Friday you might get your delivery the following week.

Listen, trust me, you do not want to use that online chat. I have received so much conflicting information, sometimes from the same person even. Just don't bother talking to them if you need information because you will be led astray. They don't know what's going on behind the scenes, they just guess or repeat misinformation.

Do you think your order number tells you anything? based on the last 3 digits perhaps?

they sort of follow a pattern on mine because i had 2 failed order attempts because the transaction got flagged for fraud so had to confirm first.
 
MTN’s esim support starts today, please someone let us know how it goes if they manage to get it activated on an iPhone and watch? And if the guys in store give you blank faces.
 
Just heard from my buddy, Network Providers have started receiving their stock today. So in store upgrades \ new contracts will be able to get it on the day

Friday it was still blank faces. So hope a lot changed over the weekend \ Monday. Went to 3 different stores, all of them saying MTN only does eSIM on wearables and not mobile devices. One store was almost able to help, until the lady and store manager told me, they can only do an eSIM on a device, if the device is on an MTN contract. Which kind of defeats the purpose no?

What sort of info do you think it will tell you? Besides maybe the order of the orders they receive?

Most of them are blank... well thats my experience with MTN store staff
