iPhone 12 Rumours & Release Date

My status has changed to "processing". 12 mini 128gb Product Red.
 
Probably late to the party, but just did a pre-order of the 12 Pro Max 256 on Telkom via an upgrade of an existing contract I have with them.

After a few minutes, got a message that the online upgrade application has been pre-approved and an agent will be in touch to continue the upgrade process and final approval will be confirmed during the upgrade process.

Does anyone have experience with Telkom pre-orders? OR am I better off going to a store and doing the upgrade there and therefore not have to wait for a call?

Depends when you want the device. Instore - if they have stock, you walk out with the device same day, if not, then you wait. Pre-Order online \ via phone, then wait for delivery. So all depends on your timelines and the risk you are willing to take, because if the store doesnt have, then you would need to do it Online and hope they still have stock

I would suggest maybe phoning a few of the local stores then, see if they are getting stock and ask if they can reserve one for you, as you will be coming in on Friday to upgrade. Try threaten and say if they cant, then you will cancel, as Vodacom, or whoever is willing to reserve one for you on a new contract :D :D

I know Vodacom & MTN stores are getting their stock in today, not sure about Telkom though.

Last ditch effort though, would be to try doing an instore upgrade at the iStore itself
 
Got notifications (email and sms) that both of my orders are ready, look out for courier info soon.
I guess we should all be receiving the phone this Friday!
 
Quick question; if I do buy the phone from iStore through FNB (Turns out to be cheaper than MTN, Vodacom, etc) on my CC - do I first need to put in an application with FNB to increase my CC limit?
 
Is it just me or are there more people in this forum getting the 12s than there were getting the 11s late last year? Lol

Still need to go to an iStore and play with this thing, though I am definitely not getting a 12 I really want to feel the new design in hand as I have been wondering if it’s not harsher for long periods of usage.
 
I just got my iCare email and status is Handed to Courier. No voucher yet and I ordered 01:40 on Friday morning.
But looks like I should get it Thursday or Friday.

I might also have got the misinformed social media person on Twitter but they did do this to me with the 8 plus launch. I’m going in store on Friday.
