iPhone 12 Rumours & Release Date

Iphone 12 mini looks great.
Finally a worthy successor to my S10e.

Looks nice, I will maybe consider the 12 for my upcoming upgrade, but leaning more towards finding a great deal on the 11 Pro (clearance sale or perhaps even a good Black Friday deal)

Finally a design I can embrace that will compliment my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. This square design is impressive. Think I'll get a 12 Pro.

Absolutely stunning devices, a pity many will put them in silicone cases because these are by far the best looking iPhones since the iPhone 4/4S, IMO.

I’ll keep my 11 Pro Max though.

If I were to get the 12 Pro Max, a nice combo will be the 12 Pro Max Graphite or Pacific Blue with the Black Leather Case if the bottom is exposed as it is on 11 Pro Max. I still get a nice glimpse of the Midnight Green Stainless Steel of my phone with the Forest green leather case.

Okay, that's gorgeous.

I loved the design of the 4, but this is something else.

Indeed! A nice mix of iPhone X + iPhone 4 design.

Can you use these phones without a case i.e how scratch proof are all those fancy materials they kept going on about?

So all the leaks were 100% on point.

Absolutely! One of the only rumours that didn’t come true was the claim of there being a B14 Bionic chip or maybe that’s going in the next SE?

On the other end, Jon Prosser may as well be getting most of his leaks from Tim Cook himself at this point

Really depends on how you use them, everyone will give you a different answer, there are people who will use these things naked and have minimal scuffs and micro scratches over 2 years and there are others who’ll be doing a screen replacement within a week of getting it.

I would suggest getting it a case as they can be quite slippery, I know for me there are days where I’ll get out the car and I hear the phone hit the floor realizing it was not fully in my pocket, so I always have a case and screen protector on.

Any word on a new Apple TV?

Nope, it was HomePod Mini and iPhone 12s.

I only wanted two things from the new iPhone Pro Max model: to lose the monstrous notch and get a 90 or 120Hz refresh rate. It got neither. I guess I'm upgrading to the OnePlus 8T Pro this year.

I'm gonna use it naked with iCare from iStore, cant cover that purdy design.

I don't get this fascination with 120 hertz screen. Why is it so important?

Is the 8T Pro still happening? Thought it was just the 8T, still great devices though, I like what OP did this year.

Haha, all the best, I’d love to do the same but I just can’t, I used my 11PM without a case for a full day once and had a few close calls, it made me miss the days of phones using Faux Leather backs that were grippy.

Because everyone else has it and therefore Apple MUST have it
I don’t get the fascination either, I have 120hz refresh on my iPad Pro, it’s great, however I don’t feel its a MUST, I think they did the right thing doing 5G first. I think 120hz will be more feasible in terms of battery life when they get to 3nm chips or at least further refine the current 5nm, not sure if they’ll make the jump to 3nm next year or 2022.
