at last, an official date. Wonder if any of the other providers will launch on the same day? Just had a call from MTN, wanting me to get a new line. I told them I am waiting for the iPhone 12 and the lady on the phone said they are only expecting to launch in March / April :O

Yeah I currently have a max, but the 12 pro max looks massive.

Was afraid of the same thing actually!
looked and saw that the body dimensions are pretty much identical to the old 6 Plus.

And I enjoyed my 6 Plus tremendously but for others maybe it was too big.

thats good to know, I had the 7 Plus back in the day and loved it too. Although, with the edge-to-edge display, it might "feel" bigger

Go check the tech specs on the Apple za page - all iPhone 12’s have 5G. It just doesn’t make sense to use that narrative in SA marketing at this point in time.

Probably won’t make sense to advertise it like that yes. I see that all models of the iPhone 12 will have 5G according to the tech specs.

The 4G model will only come out Q1 next year, so there are no iPhone 12 4G variants yet. Makes no sense why we wouldn't get the 5G version anyway.
