Not everywhere, some regions have limited stock. Just to rub it in, I could pick one up tomorrow if I wanted.

They weren't wrong...plus there was a article on MyBroadband stating that Apple disabled 5G on Vodacom due to the network not meeting their performance requirements.

Is your region perhaps set to somewhere in the EU? EU regulations prevent it from being turned off afaik.

It's set to South Africa. I will try to set it to EU and then revert to see if that changes it.

Edit: I am still not able to turn the notifications off.

I changed mine to EU and it didn’t disable for me so doubt it’s that, sorry. Seems to be a known bug for some users.
