How does everyone's battery health look like?
Mine is still 100% after 161 cycles.
Just get it here? https://www.dubaidutyfree.com/Anyone been to Dubai recently and have the Duty Free prices?
Specifically 15 Pro Max - 256GB
Oh damn, didn't know there was a website.Just get it here? https://www.dubaidutyfree.com/

Mac Shack has brand new 15 Pro Max 512GB going for R34900, that’s where I got my replacement 15 PM 512GB.

Will let this guy work on my phone any time.
Well actually I posted the video because I have seen a few videos of people opening iPhones and repairing screens or something. But never seen anyone doing it like this guys and how clean he work and with such care. All I have seen is they heat the screen to open the phone. Also the way he cleans the old sealant.Though probably cheaper to just buy the 1TB model, flights and accommodation will probably cost as much.

So following my post of last month, I finally upgraded today.I'm due for an upgrade at the end of the month, and looking to get either the 15 Pro or Pro Max. I'm having a hard time deciding between the two - on the one hand, bigger is better, right? Or not? But approximately R150 p/m more on contract for the Max, so wondering if it is worth the extra money or not.
I'm quite happy with the normal Pro size, and concerned that the Max might be too big. Different strokes for different folks, I guess - but would love to hear from fellow forumites about their personal experience, and recommendations on which one to choose.
Also, trading in at iStore is also available for contract upgrades, and as far as I can determine, one can either get the cash back or lower one's monthly contract tariff. Has anyone done the latter? Would love to hear how it worked out. Will have to visit an iStore in person anyways, very frustrating that one can't phone them directly.
https://www.checkers.co.za/All-Depa...arge-3-0-Single-Port-USB-Charger/p/10539294EA works fine including touch ID on the Mac.So following my post of last month, I finally upgraded today.
One thing I did not realise, is that the included USB cable is USB-C to USB-C, so I need a new charger brick. What are you guys using? Original Apple or any other recommendations? Any ones to avoid, etc?
I love Anker - https://www.takealot.com/anker-312-charger-20w-type-c-only/PLID95143224 for a good small "cheap" charger. So following my post of last month, I finally upgraded today.

Pro Max...the bigger battery was a huge attractionDid you get the Pro Max or the Pro?
I have a Lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter and it works perfect. iPhone pics it up as Bluetooth.Thank you for the suggestions so far.
I am now wondering if I shouldn't rather just buy a USB-A to USB-C cable, because I've just realised I will still need a cable with USB-A on one side, in order to connect my phone to my gimbal and powerbanks.
Looking at these two:

Then, I've still been rocking my wired Apple Earpods, I see there is a USB-C version for them but at R459 a shot it is not gonna happen. So maybe it is finally time for Airpods, but in the mean time, any suggestions on a cheaper wired solution? Some of the cheapies on Takealot etc. do not have great reviews.
