I am quite disappointed, the battery life seems to not be any better really than 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max despite the 3nm chip and larger battery.

I think I will skip this, I was thinking of getting it under a 2nd line, but each review I read or watch is not giving me that “gees” to go get it. Last time I got a 2nd line was when the Note8 got announced and I had a S7 Edge lol, didn’t care at all I just wanted a Galaxy Note back in my hand :ROFL:

This 13 Pro Max should continue serving me well until next year, but it does seem as if we have hit peak smartphone and that makes me kinda sad. :/

Really bad service all around though — I didn’t even get a notification to say that it was delayed, had to check tracking myself to figure that out Really wish iStore used TCG instead lol
 
What is everyone's opinion on the iStore deal - R3500 additional trade-in assistance if trading in an iPhone 13 for any 15?

No issues so far, but I must say its not nearly as exciting getting a new phone as it used to be. Coming from an 11 Pro, yes the camera is way better, and the updated form factor is nice, but once everything was transferred it just felt a bit meh. Like 90% of the time the user experience is going to be exactly what I had.

I miss the whacky years of Nokias in the early and mid 00’s when every upgrade meant you probably got a radically different phone to the one before.

Guess we really are at peak smartphone, and Apple is to blame for pushing the industry into the form factor we have.
 
If anybody is keen, I have a 15 pro max natural titanium 256gb from Istore. Have broken the seal on the box but haven’t removed the screen film. I’m thinking I’m going to change my battery and soldier on with my current phone so happy to let this go if you were let down on pre order via Istore.

no fine woven here ... when you spend R1900 on a case you also then worry about the case. Not up for something looking kak after a few days. Bought a bellroy leather case online (it was decently priced before customs got invovled).

Istore came through and sourced me my second iphone 15pm in 256gb natural titanium. I was extremely lucky to pick it up this morning. Busy setting up the phone

Initial impressisons: it is still a heavy boy, so yes feels slightly lighter than the 13pm ... but for me for some reason it feels smaller to hold in hand than the 13pm.

the natural titanium is beautiful and aestheically an incremental improvement over the 14pm / 13pm

I am somewhere between trading my 13 PM for it on a new line or not getting it at all, lol.
Figuring I get as much as I can for the 13 PM now while the opportunity is there.

Looking at the GSMArena measurements the 15 PM is slightly smaller, those smaller bezels have allowed Apple to shrink the device while keeping the screen the same size, pretty amazing.

Other way round. I’ve kept the woven case and it’s still looking great and loving the texture. The clear case is a nightmare though, so smooth it is a mission to take it out of your pocket safely without dropping it.
