Bought my 14 PM cash. Came from a 12 pro. Definitely noticed some upgrades but nothing wild. Regret going for a PM as I preferred the pro size. Think I will hold off until the 16/17 depending on how my battery lasts.

I am in the confused boat :ROFL:
My 13 Pro Max is great but I did do a Vodacom order on the 15 Pro Max, however I am having major second thoughts on this given the both the Battery Life and Heat situation.

I think I want to give it a month and relook what the situation is once Apple have sorted all of this out, mid-November I go into a Vodashop and do a trade-in if I am happy.

Will have a good think about it, I am not completely happy with what I am reading and hearing on the reviews.

I feel it’s worse than my 13pm … been charging to 80% (should actually charge it fully and then do the 80%). I’m not doing anything crazy on the phone.

Yeah agree. Signs of the times as well. The queue at Fourways mall and mall of Africa wasn’t that big (could it even be called a queue ) … it’s just that core brought in so little stock and I would gander that next year the situation will worsen

Seen a lot of folks post similar sentiments on battery life. Hopefully in the next update it will get better than 13/14PM.
 
Opted not to go for the 15 Pro after all (currently happy with my 13 Pro) because I figured I’d wait for all the “new” stuff to wear in, and hopefully mature by the time the 16 Pro comes out.

Gonna see how much the iStore offer me for my 14 Pro Max... then consider whether I should get the 15. If I can get somewhere close to R20k for my 14, I'll happily jump to the 15.

Funny thing is if you Google "iphone speaker crackling sound" there are complaints from the X all the way to the 15.

I think we need better sources than Reddit complaints to establish whether it's a widespread issue on the iPhone 15 or part of the normal distribution of manufacturing defects
