Not necessarily, there have been issues in the past such as bend gate, antenna gate, and the 15 series has had overheating issues (although they claim there has been a software fix). If anything, since Apple hasn't directly advertised the 45W, it may be even more of a potential issue.

All the other phones at the time also had antenna gate issues if you hold it a certain way. The bend gate issue people had to Jerry Rig bend the phone with force. I could go on and on.

No they cocked up with batterygate. Should've told people they're slowing down old phones because of the battery wearing out. A software update fixed it though.

The post I quoted (i.e. someone else) was talking about Apple needing to to make profit on old devices to which I stated their competition does not and that Apple just likes money. You are welcome to discuss but I suspect you are more interested in getting your post count up than actually contributing anything worthwhile.
