The other thread is getting pretty LOOONG and I thought that we might need a thread only focussing on the 2.0 as it is a bit unique to the 1.x versions.

My comments below assumes you are running a 2G pwnage iPhone.

So here we go. I have discovered the following so far:

1. Predictive text
Install the iPhone-notes.de sources via Cydia
Install the asKB app
voila!

2. EDGE AP settings
Follow the following link to get access to your Edge after upgrading: http://justinhartman.com/2008/07/31/how-to-change-vodacom-apn-settings-on-iphone-2-firmware/


3. SwirlyMMS
Not available yet...but probs within a few days.

4. Installer
If you have installed this while rebuilding your Firmware you should go have a look...some sources and apps came online today. It will probably take off in next week.


5. Google Search
Brilliant app to search your contacts and general Google searches!

Nah... it's best to keep one thread going, the mods wont like this I think
 
Agreed! Mods pls lock this thread.

The other thread keeps up to date with all the latest FWs, Apps, Tips, Tricks and everything else...

Besides, one can find anything he wants in one single thread.

It's not released for 2.0.1 yet but i'm sure its on it's way.. Was working perfectly for 1.1.4.. Just gotta wait for the developer to port it over..

I'm rather flattered that someone tried to duplicate my thread, but i also think it's best we keep everything in my thread :)

i'll try to keep it updated more often.. haven't had a lot of time recently but will do my best :)
 
Memory lapse- how do I sync apps from two stores

Hi Guys,

I have some purchased apps from the South African store and I have some from the American store. How do I get both stores apps onto the iphone. I remember I manage to find some way around it in the past, but I can't seem to find the thread explaining the method.

Would appreciate any suggestions
