Iphone 2 just announced!

its thinner than the previous one ... damn ... and cheaper and has GPS, better battery life ... camera ? did they say how good the camera is? .... i want one so badly now ...
 
Jobs is claiming it will be a maximum of $199 (r1500) "all around the world" so dont you try to gouge us with a 24 month contract Vodacom - capisce?

think im leaning towards a white 16gig version at this price ...

Anyone got a list of the 22 countries launching July 11th?!

No African country was mentioned in the audio stream, but Vodafone will of course be releasing it through Vodacom over here.

There was a picture up of a map being displayed at the WWDC with all the countries where iPhone will be released and South Africa was one of the highlighted countries - but yes he didn't actually mention us technically challenged African countries
