IPhone 3Gs and MMS

I have a problem sending MMS messages. The transmission seems stop when sending the data section. A message then pops up to say that the data connection could not be made.
This is strange as:
1. The MMS settings are correct.
2. The device works fine on all the other applications involving data transmission (Internet and Email)

Has anyone also experienced this problem and what was the solution?

I don't have an iphone myself, so this is hearsay... I have a friend with an iphone and he has identical problems. Basically, as he explained it to me, he can have mms working, but not internet, or vice versa.

Solution? Sorry, don't have one! Good luck.

I have taken this up on a few ocassions with 155 recently.
The last time was down at the Vodacare center in Gateway.
The "techie" informed me that Vodacom knows of the problem and that Apple has not approved Vodacom for MMS and Internet Tethering. He said that AT & T in the USA is having the same problems with the MMS service.
Well if that is the case and Vodacom cannot provide a solution, then the owners of 3Gs models should have legal recourse against Vodacom for selling a phone they cannot fully support.

ALSO: Why have the Mods moved this thread. IT HAS TO DO WITH VODACOM!!

Never had MMS problems before, but I am not using the iPhone APN on VC, so that might be the difference.
