Iphone 3gs Carrier settings updated

hi

last night i plugged in my iphone to sync and backup with itunes


it said that there is a carrier setting update available

i did update and now my phone cant access any internet

iam on vodacom

anyone else experiencing this?

It's a Vodacom problem. My iPhone also can't connect to the internet and my settings haven't changed.

mine was updated to vodacom 8.1

i got mine working

user the following

Vodacom

WAP/GPRS:
APN: internet
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Email smtp: smtp.vodacom.co.za

Checked with our resident iPhone guru, his updated to vodacom 8.1 and its working fine with the iPhone APN:
iphone.vodacom.za

So maybe it was just a temporary outage with an APN switch for iPhone 4
