iPhone 4 3G issue

Hi,

Got an iPhone 4 on Vodacom. Keeps on losing 3G signal. The indicator goes from the "3G" indicator to a "0" indicator. Is this a known issue? Anyone else having the problem? Should I get a swop out? Thanks...

I know a lot of people say the reception on the iPhone 4 is good, but I've seen consistently that it drops 3G in areas where reception is not great. Checked this with two iPhone 4's ... HTC HD2 and iPad had great 3G reception and the two iPhone 4's both went to GPRS.

But this is dropping reception all the time, in all areas, even where the 3G is great on iPad...

iPhone4 3G issue

I am experiencing exactly the same issue on the iphone4.

Also checked US websites and it seems this may be a common issue.

Not quite sure as to when this will be resolved but is a pain.

Has it not got something to do with that left hand thing? Apparently when a left handed person holds it the signal drops because it covers the internal antenna. :O
