That's so weird, because when I called Willowbridge they said they won't be getting the iPhone 4. At any rate I got mine about a week back from Canal Walk - they had loads of stock.

Weird indeed..the guy from Riverside told me that, they are the same MTN franchise..and the manager ordered 150 units for those 4 stores and split it between them. They probably did not know that stock was coming in..they got stock last Thursday!

I agree..yet they advertise it..and not give regular feedback to clients..they probably have different suppliers to MTN

Just placed my name on a waiting list today at MTN store in Pavilion Durban. Im listed somewhere halfway down on page 9 of their waiting list. Everytime a the list page gets full, it goes off to the manager who then starts processing the orders. A quick glance at the sheet showed roughly one week worth of activity, so it should be another week before its even sent in for any processing. Hopefully, theres no backlog, but after reading this thread, I will make a few calls around tomorrow.

placed my upgrade request yesterday at VC for iphone4 got sms today "will delivery shortly" after "you are on waiting list". i guess stock has arrived somewhere...

I think I might have found the only store in SA that has stock : Vodashop in Richards Bay. Luckily my in-laws stay there so they've picked up my phone whoop whoop.

Friend of mine ordered his phone yesterday through Vodacom. They told him today the phone is being delivered by RAM today?! Don't know how he got that done. Then again, let's wait and see if the phone is actually coming.

Cellucity has none. I tried V&A, Somerset Mall and Canal Walk. They have no idea when they'll receive stock and when they do it's two or three at a time and there's a looong waiting list.

Anyone know what the warranty is like on the iphone 4 ?

I am desperately trying to get hold of one. I am assuming there is no network lock on the phone purchased from either of the carriers ?
