iPhone 4 stuck in headphone mode HELP

Please help, my iphone4 is stuck in headphone mode. I have tried everything (soft/hard reset, restoring software) andnothing seems to work. What else can I try?

if it's wireless headphones, disable bluetooth?

If you use the headphone socket, it might be dirt or a stuck headphone sensor at the bottom of the socket. Just insert the 3,5mm plug into the socket a few times, work it a bit, and pull it out quickly......hmmmmm....wait....this sounds wrong
