Hi

So a friend of mine updated his iOS to 8 and now 8.0.2 on his iPhone 4s.

Now he has an issue where the WiFi icon is not selectable. It is grayed out as if not available.

He's done everything from resetting the phone and network settings and rebooting the phone etc etc, but it still doesn't allow him to switch his WiFi on.

I've Googled a bit and saw a lot of other users have the same issue, but no answer or solution, not even on the Apple site.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and could you get a resolution to it?

So far iOS 8 has been a HUGE let down. I myself have a 5 and haven't had any of the issues he's had, except for iMessages being extremely slow.

IOS 8 has been a royal farkup. We have 3000 ipads, we are trying to stall the IOS 8 update, i was the first to update and its been horrible, Cellular service disappearing, Copy and paste not working, Safari stalling and not opening, WiFi connecting but not accessible.
Apps crashing, the whole OS has become laggy.
IOS 8.0.2 has fixed a lot of the issues, but the "No Service" still appears.
Everyone is so busy with the whole bending issues, its as if no one is realizing the actual big problem here, POS IOS8
IOS 7.1.2 is marvelous on the other hand.
