Vodacom Rep told me that the iphone 5/5s will only be in SA in May, by then i will be waiting 7 Months for the iphone 5
 
I have to laugh. Treated like schit on the bottom of Apples shoe, and we all jump up and down screaming and desperate to give them our money.

Dont believe anything you hear from Vodacom reps. They don't know anything. iPhone 5 will be released sometime in December/January.

There is no way they going to wait so long to release it.
 
The oke says the iPhone 5 or 5s is going to be available in march... the 5s isn't even close to being announced yet and you believe him. Some guys will believe anything you tell them.

Dude, you can't be serious - if the guy said that i wouldn't believe anything from him.
 
Just when local Apple fans will get their iPhone 5's the SGS4 will hit us ... and as it stands (per Apple loving Stuff Magazine of all places) the S3 already trumps the iPhone 5. Why Apple is already hard at work preparing the 5S that may come sooner than per normal release schedule (like the iPad 4). Tech is changing too fast and the competition is very very tough so "normal" release cycles be damned.
 
Firstly, as per most iPhone releases in South Africa - We should see it next month here - January at the latest. Lastly, we won't see an iPhone 5s until end of next year, October. Which is now Apple's normal release cycle. The iPhone 4s hit the US market, 2011 - October. iPhone 5, same time. Next year, same time, too.

I agree that technology is changing fast - to say that Apple are "Rushing" to get the new iPhone 5s out (Which hasn't even been announced yet and won't be until next year ) is a ridiculous statement.

On my final note - Don't believe a Vodacom rep who tells you the iPhone 5s is here in May. Please! LMAO!
 
When I went to get my 4S, I told and MTN rep thats the phone I wanted, he said he'd never heard of a 4S, they only sell the 4.

It just goes to show you that these reps dont know whats going on.

The 5s is nothing but a rumor at the moment. iPhone 5 will be here in December. Need to find yourself a new Vodacom rep.
 
Looney, that's exactly my point. The reps are useless and 90% of the time, make crap up on the spot.
