iPhone 5 pricing from Cell C

Now all we gotta know is how to get in that first 1000.

I've done the pre-order, but not sure that's going to help much.

How did you pre order? I clicked the pre order but it just takes me to the find out more page
 
Now THAT is what we call an incentive guys.

More splendid stuff from CellC! R399 p/m for an iphone 5 with 200 minutes and 500MB p/m ? This kinda thing will make me consider settling the outstanding months with MTN, and jumping ship right now.

(Un)fortunately I'm not a apple f**boy though :D
 
I Wish they had amazing competitor beating offers like this for the Lumia 920 or 8X
 
An extra 300MB per month, so a total of 500MB.

So they release a special, but the same day close their online pre-orders down?

Sounds like it's just a marketing gimmick to me.. (pretty sure they've had 1000 pre-orders long ago already)

They're making you go to the stores to see if you can get the deal there, hoping you'll just give-in and get the contact at the usual price anyway.
 
Gave them a call, they took my details. said they'll call me tomorrow. Lets see. Waiting to see 8ta's pricing as well
 
Only a thousand? What will the normal price be for the guys that won't be included in that 1000?

The phones are coming out too quickly after each other now man. If you'll wait you'll wait forever for the best phone.

I agree 100%.

Thing is, the iPhone 5 does not have a 'killer-feature', which seperates it from previous models, so it might be wise to hold on for the next round.

If you have an iPhone 3/3GS it will definitely be worth upgrading though.

All the people buying the iPhone 5 tomorrow will not really have something to show off, unless they carry a ruler and stopwatch with them to prove the size and speed differences.

It's like Microsoft getting all excited about the Surface's magnetic click-on keyboard when they demoed it on stage, and then getting a hushed response from the audience, because they have seen the iPad's smart cover do that a long time ago. :D
