iPhone 5 SMS conundrum

I have a Nokia E5 on a Vodacom contract and an iPhone5 on Telkom Mobile. I have changed my iPhone's nano SIM to a regular one as I am using the 8ta/TM in my Nokia E5. The iPhone now has my Vodacom nano SIM.

On the Nokia E5 with standard sim and 8ta/TM, I cannot send sms because of a known iPhone issue. As the SIM's differ in shape, I cannot swap temporarily to execute the **5005*7672*+2781191# command.

Is there any ways I can get the 8ta iPhone account fixed from within the Nokia E5?

Known issue for sending an SMS? SMS's are the most basic of them all, check your message center settings

SMS settings not the problem

No, it isn't a simple message settings issue. This is an officially recognised Apple fault.

If my SIM's were of the same type, fixing this may heave been easier. This problem has been discussed elsewhere on MyBB but my swapped phones now complicated the issue.

I've heard people using iPhone 5 complaining about this, and apparently Apple is investigating the issue so no resolution so far.
