Under the right conditions they are on par. iPhone 5s has an advantage in low light. Also, it's about the whole Camera app functioning better on the whole. It auto focuses and tap to focuses much faster. My full and subsequent posts:

Lol. I assume you meant left ios for android ? Stop confusing android with Samsung. Anyone who does that doesn't have the right to comment on tech. When Samsung invent their own operating system then they will be in a position to compare. Oh wait....

Why does Apple always bring out the Apple bashers in such a ridiculous fashion? This isn't an us vs them sort of thing, it's simply phones that appeal to different audiences and markets. Not every smartphone buyer is looking for the same thing when they make their purchase. It is a massive markets and each phone appeals to different groups, get over it, this isn't an absolutist argument. There is no right or wrong answer.

It pretty much kills any normal cponstructive discussion you can have about the phones... If I wanted to ask about the new keyboards for instance, I'd have a dozen clowns telling me their phones have had it for years... with no actual input into what other users are using or any issues they've been having.

You need to say it with more emphasis on iSheep, sheeple, walled garden, etc. You must throw in a few of those words to make it more genuine. Saying something constructive without insulting someone is not how it's done. So if for example if I said "why do Android users root their phones if Android is already supposedly completely open?" then one of the clowns would say "it's to enable more features, unlike you iSheep that sip on Apple's Kool Aid while living in their walled garden."
 
I'm having difficulty recalling who the last disruptive iOS user was that would frequent non iOS threads.
