Fortunately the Android hordes are incapacitated .. ROBL'ing (Rolling On Battlefield Laughing) over Apple's 'superior build quality' while our inferior 'plastic' phones just plain stubbornly refuses to exhibit the same defect.. :whistle:

Funny how so often android users adopt choice as their mantra but only as long as that choice is android…

It's quite disingenuous to say that software is a constantly moving variable. Hardware is also a moving variable with each new phone. Phone cameras are nothing but constantly moving variables.

What I cant understand is people religiously defending Apple no matter what. Bendable Iphones? Must be the dumb fool putting it in a back pocket. Or my favourite: " all metal will bend if you put a lot of force on it" posted by another isheep on here. Really?! WTF.

Apple fans have had a lot of practice at defending their products. What I don't understand is why people feel they need to show loyalty to a specific brand, if you're concerned about Apple then don't defend this at all, I'm sure Steve Jobs wouldn't have behind closed doors.

Just about any smartphone in history is bendable, like any piece of thin metal. I've seen no such religious defending, only minor efforts at balancing this mountain out of nothing with some common sense.

The last video report on this issue by Unbox Therapy is putting this issue straight, the iPhone 6 is durable.

I'm waiting to see how Apple will respond to this issue with the iPhone 6 Plus, also should this "disaster" be limited to a batch. All I know is that Samsung will be putting their upcoming Note 4 through several stress tests on the chassis as it will have a hybrid aluminium chassis. At least cases like these will set standards when it comes down to smart device designs.

One does not have to be a genius to understand the dangers in construing a few forum posts as fact, no matter the topic.

Yours and others' contentedness with the purported bend (sic) truth is obvious. It's the lack of analytics behind the so-called truth which paints a bigger picture.

Manufacturing facts from whims is expected.
