Not impressed TomTom

Back in the day TomTom rocked now the App is meh compared to Google Maps & HERE Maps.

UI is not user friendly. App says I'm in Jozi; can't even pick up I'm in in CT.

Competition just got exponentially better...

The original TomTom app you had will still be working (and according to TomTom with still receive app and map updates). I also don't really like the look of the new Go app, I'll be sticking to my original app (except for countries that aren't in my original subscription).

If you had any legit TomTom app you would have got the Go app with a full 3 year license.

Without the full license the new Go app only allows 50 miles of nav per month iirc, so not all that useful for full time use. You won't really be missing much.

Agreed! I tweeted them; they know about it...have to live with it for a while till a re-code or some flimsy excuse...

I think its an overkill, maybe if you collect media, but a phone is to small to enjoy so much media.

There is no such thing as too much space , those 4k movies are going to rape your phone storage :twisted:. Also, you're not going to be complaining about that screen size when all you got is a phone to keep you entertained, frequent long distance travelers know the feeling. Don't forget this also benefits the ipad product line.

I mean replacing the 16gb model with 32gb. IMO 32 is the minimum requirement for an iPhone storage. My wife's 16gb 5s is constantly running out of space.

I actually think we've crossed the 32GB threshold too with all these camera advancements... 64GB should be the minimum if you don't allow external storage.

I won't disagree but I doubt they'd put the storage threshold that high and keep the price the same. I could get by with 32gb.

NAND storage has gotten and continues to get cheaper by the day. It's the same reason they can sell a 128GB at the previous 64GB price.
