iPhone 6s

I love Siri except for one thing Cortana and Google Now actually do...spelling out works.

On the other two if I want directions to Makro (an unknown word) I simply say "give me directions to M..A..K..R..O".

Siri either doesn't do this or doesn't understand as it reads "M..A..K...are...O" and then gives me directions to KBC Engineering...erm.

Interested to hear if anyone here recently upgraded to an iPhone 6S/6S+ through Vodacom, but via the iStore?

Been speaking to Core since the end of January (once a week) about stock on 64GB models anywhere in the Western Cape, with no luck.
And since I cannot contact the stores directly, only have the call-centre's information to go on.

Cannot quite understand how a month can pass without them being able to secure stock?? Starting to get seriously annoyed now. Might just upgrade through Vodacom direct, and be done with it...

[Edit:]

Vodacom Online also don't have stock... Wouldn't be surprised if the exchange rate is driving them to keeping less stock on hand, with them only ordering as they require... Bit of a joke this.

Does it have to be with Vodacom? My fiancé also been calling for a while but no Vaodacom stores have stock. We finally found a 6S Plus 128Gb at a MTN store that she is going to get today.

Not really, I guess.

Just don't feel like the extra admin/PITA to change from Vodacom to them... guess I'll let my annoyance/impatience levels make the call for me, eventually.

Yeah my fiancé was on Vodacom pre-paid and now she has moved to MTN and did the number port as everywhere she called hey told her they still waiting on stock from a few weeks back and that there is a list etc. I suppose if you get a lucky store that will be the best or just keep waiting.

Popped in to local Vodacom store:

Do you have stock of 64gb iPhone 6S?

Let me go check in the back. [10 minutes later]. Sorry sir, no stock, but we do have the 128gb available right now.

How long still before getting more stock of the 64gb?

3/4 weeks, maybe. They are very scarce.

Ok. What's the price-difference per month btw 128gb and 64gb?

Let me check on that. [5 minutes later] = less than R100...

Ok. I'll take one then. Space-grey, right?

Oh, errr, no, only Gold. You going to take one?

[sigh].

Just ordered a 128gb 6S Space-grey through Vodacom online. Still no 64gb.

Ridiculous how something so popular, can *still* be so difficult to get hold of.

But ja. Will hopefully arrive this week. Joy.

So I'm a huge Wiki person; always searching articles.

What's your fav Wiki App on iOS?

I've been using the below App since my 2010 iPhone days & it's been great. Lately the lack of new functionality has dropped though

Along comes this new App & that on paper ticks many boxes; thinking of forking out the 1 USD:

Any opinions on this yet; what App do you use; maybe you don't wiki on your devices etc

I normally just go straight to wiki, hadn't even thought of using an app.

I'll download the free one above and give it a try.

So I'm using my 6s now as my default device. Running 9.3 b5. So smooth!! Daaaaamn!!

The extra ram, the quicker cpu, this thing is a beast! So responsive, no discernible lag. Very refined user experience. So polished!

Not that there's anything wrong with the 6 but it's just amazing how much more composed the 6s feels!

Now to get used to the vanilla look and feel. I hate that there's little to no room for me to express myself on a stock iPhone...

@Dave the main thing about using an App for Wiki is optimization & added functionality...Wikipanion is great in that regard.
