iPhone 6s

NAND storage has gotten and continues to get cheaper by the day. It's the same reason they can sell a 128GB at the previous 64GB price.

Wont be long now...

Betting against the stinginess of Apple is never good money.

Picked up an iPhone 6S 64GB this week. So far loving it. Battery life is much better than my 5S and the 3D Touch is pretty cool. Use it a lot. Screen is decent too!

3D touch is probably the most over-hyped feature on there. I'm not entirely sure what one would use it for. It takes approximately the same time to create a new message normally than through 3D touch context menu.

So many ways it's useful... Do you know all the ways?

Wholly disagree with that - but then, each to their own.

My single gripe is that the Clock/New Alarm doesn't take me to the alarm 'page', as I had hoped - but for the rest, really find it incredibly useful (especially the cursor positioning feature!!).

And as for messages, you skip a tap each time? As in, don't need to go back to main page from last viewed message?

Also you can swipe to a different app or open switch menu from swiping with force from the left. Lots of useful things for 3D Touch

I did like that... And there were some other things that made 3D Touch nice but I kept forgetting them. Maybe if I had the phone for a longer time it would have become habit

Using 3d touch to place the cursor in a message is more than enough justification for it's existence for me.

+1.

That said, still a bit hit-and-miss for me, tbh. Still getting used to 'where' on the screen I try trigger it. Initially I battled to trigger it the 1st time, each time - but that improved as I became used to it.

What's got me now, is triggering it more than once directly after each other. Get to place cursor first time up - but if I try and move it again, it sometimes fails to fire, and all I end up doing is writing the gibberish of the underlying 'keys'...

But, as mentioned - with the 1st one coming right, guess it just needs a bit more practice.

Maybe I just need to play with it a bit more, sometimes I don't even think about using it. Would be nice if more applications would incorporate 3D touch into them though. WhatsApp also doesn't have much in it's context menu for that. The Outlook app seems to work quite well with it.

Still, I don't know how much time it actually saves, it's pretty gimmicky, but I'll play around and see if I can get some use from it.
