Apple Adds Faster 3D Touch Text Deletion in iOS 10 Beta

It's a small but useful feature, and is accessible under the latest betas of iOS 10's developer and public release. When iPhone 6s owners press down harder on the backspace key on their handset, they'll notice that the software deletes characters at an increasingly faster rate, making it easier to get rid of unwanted text without wasting precious seconds. AppleInsider shares the news, and notes that “the pressure-enabled technology appears to be more efficient” than a simple long-press to delete chunks of text.

Apple's iOS 10 brings a plethora of new features to the iPhone and iPad; the most recent betas, however, have focused on delivering 100 new emoji, including the pseudo-controversial replacement of the handgun emoji with a less threatening water pistol.

The new software is expected to launch in September, alongside the release of Apple's so-called “iPhone 7.” Of course, we'll keep you posted on this front, so check back with us.

Automatic download of attachments in iPhone Mail app

Hi, is there a way to disable the auto-downloading of attachments in the Mail app for the iPhone (6)?
I have tried every section of the Settings app including the Mail app itself as well as Googling, but no success thus far.
What is the default setting on this, is it automatically downloading all the mail attachments?

Besides, this was a major security patch as 3 zero-day vulnerabilities were discovered that allowed any iphone to get hacked.

Very surprised 1st time ever their bumped up capacity of the now mid range 6s models to 32gb & 128gb.

Hi all. Is it normal when one soft resets ( power button + home button) to get like negative colors on the screen before it powers off? Never seen it before. Should I be concerned? I had some difficulty with the iOS 10 update on Tuesday but have since wiped and restored the phone but it's still doing it. Everything else seems in order.
