100%. For example my reason for buying the iPhone this year was I wanted a change. I've had too many android phone and quite frankly I'm bored of the similarities, was just dying for a change.

There are many factors that come to play when choosing a phone other than which 1 is "better".. putting my S6 to S7 side by side in the shop couldn't justify the purchase thereby making my iPhone 1 a no brainer.

Yes S7 screen is bright and vivid but does it make it a phone of choice for everyone.. no.. it's not about contest I just prefer iPhone 7 screen.

When everyone chose to buy the iPhone last week the samsung was there and the samsung shop was empty! It's a choice.

And I do not mean this in a rude manner Spizz. Just that no matter how much "better" one phone could be.. some people just prefer the other. This goes for both iPhone & Samsung.

Sure, it boils down to preference, and I got the iphone for exactly the same reason as you. That doesn't mean I can't say that another phone's screen is better than the one I have now. Of course there are more factors to a phone than just a screen, but the question was specifically about a screen.

Thinking one screen is better than another isn't personal preference though, it's a fact. But hey, screen quality isn't everything, especially when the contest is so close.

I didn't bother to answer whatatwat because if he really has used his ignore function (and hopefully he has, his replies were always tedious :p) he shouldn't be able to see the posts.

Yeah ^^^

the MTN deal at about r1100 for 350 minutes and 5gigs and an iPhone 7plus 128gig seems like great value tbh. The rest of the deals meh.

Edit: did not read all 37 pages. But what other good deals are out there?
 
For me it's really simple, iPhone suits my needs and works for me much better than what any Android phone whether Samsung or Sony does. I honestly can't say whether a Samsung or Sony phone is better or worse than a iPhone, but what I can say is that iPhone works for me and the others doesn't.
The best sports car is that one standing in your own garage, the best 4x4 is that one standing in your own garage, even better if it's paid off.
