iPhone crashed iTunes

Anyone else have this problem?
All of a sudden my iPhone 3Gs cant get through a sync session without crashing - plus I've lost all my apps with one of the crashes. I've even re-installed iTunes but nothing.

Any advice?

Not that I'm going to be able to help you (Not Apple approved) - but for those that will come along, I suspect they'll need more info from you like;

What iOS are your running on the handset?
Jailbreaked or not?
OS for your PC or are you using a Mac?

and anything else that you could think of to try and get an idea of where to start from.

iTunes always does a backup when it syncs. Maybe start by doing a restore and see if that fixes one problem. iTunes isn't the smartest software Apple has owned.

Are you on latest version of iTunes?

Try unckecking "Encrypt Backup" if it's checked.
