Got my iPhone 32GB 3G S yesterday and had to migrate to the iPhone Talk 120s package which comes with a 250Mb data bundle. Problem is the migration will only happen on the 1st of June so I'm currently paying R2 per Mb

I'm looking for a once off data bundle for the month, um...maybe for a while. Which of the data packages below can I use on the iPhone?

  • Advanced My Meg 400
  • MyMeg300 Once-off
  • MyGig3 Once-off R589.00
  • MyGig1.2 Once-off R289.00

As far as I know you should be able to use any data package (those you listed and any you didn't list) on your iPhone. Hope you enjoy the iPhone as much as I do.

Ended up getting MyMeg300 Once-off because they don't have any packages that do not expire :(

All once off packages expire after 60 days (much better than it used to be 30 days)

They shouldn't expire as long as you're on the same tariff package. If I want 5GB for the duration of my iPhone contract then I should be entitled to it, especially at those ripoff prices.

I convert about R120's money from my Business Topup 315 each month. Lasts me almost a whole month, depending on how the month goes.

I use my iphone on a TopUp 315 contract and i normally by a 500MB STD bundle every second month or so. Now it would be a 600MB bundle due to the changes in tarrifs. That normally last for the 2 months, depending opn my video usage...

PS - The expiry is actually on the last calendar day of the month after you purchased the data. so if you bought it on the 3rd of May 2010 then it will expire on the 30th of June 2010.
