I wouldn't go that far - while it's made out of the same components as the other phones, manufactured by the same companies, it's still pretty well made. Just because it's made in China doesn't mean it's rubbish. FoxConn still has to meet Apple's set quality control standards, just as the Chinese Pegatron has to meet Nokia's quality standards, and BMW South Africa has to meet BMW Germany Head Office's standards. South African made BMWs aren't inferior because of where they're made in the world.
I don't think Apple's quality is any better than, say, Nokia Lumia or (high-end) Samsung's, but then again it's not worse.
