Iphone Messages

Hi Guys

Have a quick one. The iphone shows that i have text messages, but going into it reveals that there is nothing, blank. any idea how i can rectify this issue? ive tried hard reset, reset network settings etc, but the sms messages just wont appear.

This is not my phone, but trying to assist somebody here at work

Have they logged into Messages?

Go into Messages. -> Edit (top left). -> Read All (bottom left)
