iPhone vs Samsung Galaxy S
I've been using the Galaxy for about six months. Firstly, syncing with a computer is a major schlep. I loaded quite a lot of apps and the phone just got slower and slower. Did a lot of fiddling and the speed increased, then decreased again. On the positive side it's got a fantastic battery life.
Then late last year I bought an iPad and have been very, very impressed so far. So it was only logical when I was in Germany last week to buy an iPhone. I prefer the iOS interface to the Android one now - it just works better and smoother. If you're a bit of a geek who like tinkering with devices, get the Galaxy beccause it allows more flexibility and fiddling, but due to the factors above I'd look at another type of Android phone. If you want a smartphone that is straightforward, fast and dependable, get the iPhone. And syncing with iTunes on computer is perfect, no problems.
